Typical medieval castle of the Lower Middle Ages, surprising to be one of the most beautiful and well-known in the province of Guadalajara.
Of square floor plan, it emphasizes its old Patio de Armas, where currently is located the Center of Tourist Interpretation of the Province of Guadalajara. (CITUG). As well as its Torre del Homenaje, today dedicated to Museo del Viaje a la Alcarria, the famous publication written by the Nobel Prize winner Camilo José Cela in 1946, also catches our attention.
