Guided Tours to Black Architecture
Located at the foot of Pico Ocejon, in the northwestern of Guadalajara, the traveler can see the so-called "Black Villages". They form a singular group to use in the construction of their houses slate slate and dark stone, This is the name of Black Architecture.


Tamajón
Visiting the Romanesque Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, transformed in the sixteenth century, with its arcaded atrium. We will see the Hermitage of the Virgin of the Enebrales; the patroness of Tamajón.
The town conserves some noble mansion; like the palace of the Mendoza; today the town hall.
Campillejo
Small village that preserves its church completely restored. In one of its walls the sacristy appears attached.
Campillo de Ranas
Strolling through its labyrinthine streets allows us to discover its particular architecture and know some of its most emblematic buildings such as the Church of Santa María Magdalena, also built of slate, and whose slabs are interspersed with limestone.
Majaelrayo
Located in the Sierra de Ayllon and surrounded by unique landscapes, among which Ocejon Peak (2058 m)
We will walk through its streets and visit the church of San Juan Bautista. Inside, there is a baptismal font from the 16th century.

We will see its main square bordered by some of the best popular buildings; highlights the Parochial church on one side
Starting from Valverde and as a complement, we can take a walk of 4 km. to the Cascade of the Chorreras of Despeñalagua with more than 120 m. of fall.
